This talk with Nano will summarize some of the emergent effects within Bitcoin and other traditional blockchains. They will also cover some approaches being worked on by other digital currencies, and particularly one developed initially in Austin, Nano -- for its unique solutions to scalability and energy usage. They will touch on the effects of common digital currency architectures, individual differentiators of Nano's design, and future challenges to be addressed by the ecosystem. Nano believes observing the critical impact of these alternative architectures holds some valuable lessons. They will end the talk with a call to explore and keep an open mind to alternative options for digital currencies, followed by a Q&A session.
